Recognizing that every person is different, Dr. Roberts strives to develop an individualized treatment plan for each client. While there is no one definitive form of therapy recommended for eating disorders, Dr. Roberts strives to develop a treatment plan for each individual utilizing the most effective “evidence-based” forms of therapy. Using a combination of techniques drawn from Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Dr. Roberts works with each client to address the unique and complex circumstances that surround the eating disorder. Clients might participate in individual, couples, family and group therapy during the course of their treatment, and each individual will most likely work with a team of treatment professionals to ensure the most effective and efficient treatment course.
Dr. Roberts offers assessment and evaluation to adolescents and adults for learning differences and ADHD. Using the latest assessment instruments, she will design a comprehensive battery to address your specific needs and questions.
